Contractor's legal guide - professional indemnity insurance
Friday, 13 June 2003

Professional Indemnity insurance is often a prerequisite to a contract.

Most importantly you must:
  • Review the policy to ensure that it covers the necessary risks. You are well advised to consider that the business practices of insurers are to charge a large as fee as possible and provide as little cover as possible.
  • Cost any insurance fees, which are expensive, into your fee structure.
